Mate this app at least is designed and trailered for the essential need and offered true benefits like getting rewarded via better credit rating / monetary incentives that Rent.com.au can potentially partner with other institutions (e.g. banks / major property management companies).
Currently agents can't enforce direct debit rent payment and I think this app offered great potentials to disrupt the current messy rental market.
If they successfully bundled up with few major real estate agents and these companies are willing to give the app a trial then it will certainly be spreading fast and gaining market shares. Ultimately this can become a reward program (like Flybuys / Frequent Flyers / Everyday Rewards) for renters to use to pay their rent.
