The only bad news to come out of the announcement the other day is that it will take more time (and unfortunately that means more money), to satisfy the requirements of the fda to demonstrate batch consistency/potency. I have absolutely no doubt that they will satisfy the fda, it’s just unfortunate that the mesoblast doesn’t have a great deal of runway when it comes to finances which in turn will mean dilution of shares in one way or another. Remember, just like the analyst stated in the call to mesoblast during the results, it would seem that in the greater scheme of things, mesoblast is on the precipice of a crucial inflection point. Similar things were said by the ceo of FFX when the share price was about 20 cents “this is a watershed moment”, I was glad to purchase $20k worth at that point and I’m glad to hold $40k worth of mesoblast right now
