When exactly did the FED save the day? With the disastrous way it reacted to the dot com bubble bursting in 2000?
Bring interest rates down too low and keep them there way to long.
Or how it reacted to the sub prime bubble bursting in 2008?
The bubble it blew for 8 years.
Or did it save the day when after 13 years of its printing trillions of dollars (to fix the last problem it created) it had distorting fair value on absolutely every asset on the planet?
Look into the overnight repo rates in the months leading up to Covid. The system was ready to crash because of the FED before covid hit. Covid just gave the FED an excuse to pump trillions of dollars into the big players pockets, and systemically destroy any resemblance of free markets.
I can't believe anyone with half a brain could say such a thing
