So as a non-geologist, I have done a bit of research and found that studies have suggested that the modern day hot-spot correspondsto the earlier 'North Atlantic mantle plume' that would have created the NAIP. As well, throughboth geochemical observations and reconstructions of paleogeography it isspeculated that the present day Iceland hotspot originated as a mantle plume onthe Alpha Ridge (Arctic Ocean) ca. 130-120 Ma, migrated down EllesmereIsland, through Baffin Island, onto the west coast of Greenland, andfinally arrived on the east coast of Greenland by ca. 60 Ma. Extensive outpourings of lava occurred, particularly in EastGreenland, which during the Paleogene was then adjacent to Britain.
Little isknown of the geodynamics of the opening of the North Atlantic betweenGreenland and Europe.
Further, I recommend researching the ‘KiddMine’ in Canada as a possibly relevant area of interest for investors both geologicallyand from a discovery and development perspective, in my view.

BTW, as far as I remember, the Kidd Mine in Canada is very deep. CNJ’s prospects in Greenland, on the other hand, should all be pretty shallow. Which makes CNJ’s prospects even more attractive.
