Nothing makes much sense anymore. The ZCE’s January 2022 contract was limit up today, settling at rmb10,820 per mt, up rmb364. So far this week, the price is up rmb962 to $148.83 per mt. What is really amazing is that 1,042,898 contracts traded today and there are reports that the ZCE has started to impose restrictions.
