With so much of the world's high-grade sea borne bauxite coming out of Guinea, the coup over the weekend can't be good for supply:

It's often been noted here on HC that Alumina producers will be seeking to diversify their supply away from Guinea, and with Canyon's high-purity product located right next door in Cameroon, at a time when Aluminium prices are at decade highs, the stars are aligning for the development of our project.
