So far going on the preopen the SP is down less than $1. You would think by the close of the day it would be down by at least the size of the dividend.
Going on the trajectory of Rio and Bhp SP after going ex dividend you would expect ours to do the same. Personally for purely selfish reasons it's the first time I want to see the SP take a big short lived dive during the DRP calculation window. That's so I get a better DRP price than if I bought more shares prior to going ex dividend.
