Might have something to do with the military coup that is unfolding at the moment in Guinea. The president has been captured and the head of Guinea’s special forces announced on state television that the constitution, government and all institutions were dissolved. He had staged a coup this should put China's intention of building their mine there in more of a negative light and show how important safe jurisdiction are for mines.
