'Why does no one look at graphs.' ....
Very much depends on which graphs you mean. From my perspective, the only graphs that matter are the long term - 5yr and up - graphs in the stocks I own or wish to purchase. In the case of FMG the overall trend is up.
The other graphs that matter, imo, are the 100 year trends of the ASX, the DOW etc.... and these markets have only gone up over time.
It must be exhausting trying to scrape small profits on minor daily, weekly, monthly stock movements - one also tends to miss out on major upward movements in prices by being so penny wise and pound foolish as to scorn dividends and seek to scrape together a few hundred dollars here and there by constantly trying to time market/stock movements.
