Yeah you are right on the civil aspects of Libel however what is more than likely to be the case is that it is easier for the company to sue hotcopper for not moderating the posts pursuant to their own guidelines that way it is easier for the company to prove a financial disadvantage and go for a greater settlement. IMO of course not saying that hotcopper has done anything wrong
