Why is it a stench? Yes shorting has jumped. That just says the number of people who think it may go down is increasing. Do you find it a stench when holder sell. S&P DJI Announces June 2021 Quarterly Rebalance (iguana2.com) When Ausbil sold a few weeks ago they put more shares on the market that all shorters combined over last week. Did you comment on that? The shorters have only one goal and it is same as you and I that is to make money. To do that they need to short at a high price and sell at low. So they will cover those shorts in the future raising the price. Or maybe cover at a higher price and lose money. either way what is the impact?
