What about a Samsung/LG or Sony fridge or doorbell announcement?

I have no expectation of same but certainly the idea of being in a doorbell goes back to February, 2020 when a then company employee appeared on an EDA Cafe video interview which is available under LEARN on the BRN website. The former CEO, the current CEO, Anil Mankar and Rob Telson have all spoken about smart video door bells at length.

The current CEO and Anil Mankar have specifically referred to AKD500 being for fridges and there are marketing videos for fridges produced for Brainchip. In fact the current CEO stated that where fridges were concerned the AKD500 may be the first step with the IP being integrated in volume fridge production.

White goods have the shortest development time of any product in the order of 6 to 9 months so the need to protect the engagement with an NDA logically would not extend past when the product is actually on the shelf being sold to consumers. Particularly when there is marketing value in proclaiming you are using the most advanced neuromorphic Ai chip in the world to keep your apples fresh. As used by NASA.

I suppose what I am saying is that on the announcement front I do not abandon all hope that we will see ASX announcements this side of Christmas that reveal IP licence and chip sales to major global customers.

Somewhere out there the acting CEO revealed a customer is currently integrating AKIDA technology into their product. We have opined Valeo and Valeo is set to reveal new products to the world. Anil Mankar was of the view that IP agreements were close. How close is close I have no idea but I would posit under six months.

Remember the release of volume production is set for October, November, 2021.
