Thats no where near as eye watering as the cost per patient per day of ICU is. It's around $8000 from memory so your "eye watering" $50m is about 10.7 days of ICU stay for the 580 beds they think they will need in NSW.... wow so less than 2 weeks, how long do we think the peak demand is going to go on Australia wide??
