I tried to find some info on Gordon Lau and saw this as well - don't think he's the same guy.

I believe our Gordon Lau comes from Organix Concept, a Hong Kong-based design consultancy. His specific expertise is in the wearables space from industrial design through to materials and production, including developing wearables for Highgear, LifeSense, Mio Labs and Nike. He has worked extensively with CardieX's new Director Creative Services, Gene Yanku, who also comes from Mio Labs, Highgear and Nike...surprise, surprise.
