It is linked in so far as, any government decision regarding vaccines is now tainted in the short term. As a company wishing to enter arrangements with a nation that has clear issues when it comes to contract negotiations, would that not make you slightly concerned, hesitant? If you where any company and you had been entering in any negotiation with MP Hunt.. then it becomes a greater concern.
Obviously it is not linked to IDT in anyway whatsoever.
Yet it sets a tone in the sector. It presents risk to any outside company.
But it does present an opportunity to clear the deck and for any state or federal govt to say.. "moving forward", "mistake where made, lessons where learnt" etc etc
