So ASX suspended ISX with no legal basis. In the AFR we are reading about JK's personal tax affairs ad nauseam BUT not one single mention of the illegal decision to suspend ISX under dubious circumstances. Today another AFR article talking about Janine Ryan. No mention that she illegally forwarded the VISA correspondence to the Independent Experts (and not discussion of her predecessor Kevin Lewis seeking to interfere with the work of the independent experts). And no mention of the ASX spitballing. Australia deserves better from its media, and australian markets deserve better than a regulator that (1) unilaterally removes its appeals board, and (2) suspends based on spitballing. If democracy dies in the darkness then it is time to shine the light on ASX Compliance. Snackie. ps - just spitballing here

G'day, agree with everything, save for the removal of the Appeal Board. Whilst this is not strictly an appeal, I'd much rather have any review in the hands of the Federal Court than an 'independent' Appeal Board constituted and largely overseen by the ASX. You'd want at least an arms length and then some.
