fromthebay, i'm sure the Hawsons' investment presentation made you smile - what a fantastic discovery they have. just from the "core" anomaly alone they are saying that they could run a 200MT mine at 2MT pa of premium concentrate over an 18 year life - so 36MT at roughly $80 / ton (absolute guess at the iron ore) gives USD 2.9 billion - multiply by 4 for the remaining areas and the figure is understandably huge. Subtract development costs and capital raisings and you still get a very very spicy opportunity here.
please correct me if any of my maths is wrong.
