agree with you here slick.
on another thread gaps were explained using “inside gap” and “outside gap”
inside being a gap that gaps above the last days close, but does not gap above the wicks high of the previous day
outside gap being a gap up above the entire previous candle, wick and all.
someone ran some numbers and the stats showed that inside gaps were less likely to close than the latter, but both types are considered gaps.
