Burning coal is a net benefit for the environment, co2 levels have been declining for a long time until recently. Atmospheric co2 decline is a real concern, in the past mountains high up used to have trees growing on them because even though the air is thinner at higher elevations the co2 concentration was higher then and plants could survive at higher altitudes. The main form of carbon loss is not from decaying vegetation being buried but from ocean crustaceans converting co2 and calcium into calcium carbonate for their shells, when they die they form limestone layers and the carbon is sequestered unless man digs it up to use as concrete. All these lifeforms in the ocean benefit from higher co2 including coral reefs, lobsters grown in high co2 water actually grow 5 times larger. There is ulterior motivates to the green movement, they promote the opposite of what they claim they want to achieve, they don't use real science, they spin narratives to push in the direction of their hidden agendas, don't believe anything from the greens, ngos and other types like that.
