I wasn't invited to the meeting.

I rang up the voluntary administrator within days of his appointment, and asked questions. I found out when the first (and later on the 2nd) one was on, and that anybody can go to these meetings. Only creditors can vote, but anybody is free to attend as an observer (they'll take your name when you arrive), although I wouldn't recommend that all and sundry decide to do it as there hasn't been much space in either meeting so far, small room with lots of people. Around half of the attendees are employees (as priority unsecured creditors).
