Qantas has nothing left to sell or hock. They can’t sell or hock loyalty then it’s game over, trading insolvent.
They only thing they can do now is sell a promise, a bond which will be rolled over when it matures in to the next decade.
Good luck getting any dividends out of this company this decade, if it survives or another variant comes along.
Qantas is a parody now considering they have just excluded about 30% of the population from flying with them.
I am dumbfounded that it is trading at these prices. Everything of value has been stripped from this company and there is nothing left to warrant this valuation except hope and promises. It is astonishing to witness social commentary be valued above the fundamentals. Pure distraction.
Much better places to park capital. DYOR.
