Most of the area seems to have been heavily mined over the last century and a half, its possible to come across high grade, maybe if its deep enough for the olden day miners to have not uncovered it, but by and large it seesm to be shallow <2gt type deposits
Im not as sure about the history of laverton, whether there is more potential up there?.. more greenfields? so far our res is pretty low grade.

There was great grades in the region once upon a time, BCN recently had a go at Min Min Light old workings to see if anything was missed.. (it had over 400g/t in its day)... alas not so much as the smell of an oily rag left. Its not to say that a deeper deposit of that grade might not be dicovered.. but it seems to me all the shallow ones have been sniffed out

the upside is
(a) if PoG lifts then cut off lowers and our already found resources can turn into reserves
(b) once we are mining and cashflow positive, they can drill much more aggressively.

The bottom line is.. when are we going to produce? once thats happening we can quickly clear any debt that is incurred to get there and start growing. we have plenty of resources already.. it would have to be one hell of a discovery to have an effect on the SP in the absence of production happening.
Of course the other bottom line for the sector is, when will PoG start to make some serious advances again and subsequently bring money back into the sector
