I surrender! I have to stop reading chart threads. Try as I might to dig the whole triangles, channels, cups & handles, gaps and all that jazz, they still just look like random lines on a price/volume chart to me. I don't deny they are artful and may have some predictive power for traders (which I'm not), but whenever I read threads like this with their endless argument about what they all mean, I'm drawn to the observation of a very senior Commonwealth Treasury official in a discussion we were having about some controversial Treasury modelling of a very contentious government policy of the day. "Frankly", he said, "you may as well ask your uncle." And please, this is by no means a criticism of those who are into charts. More of an admission of what might be an inadequacy on my part. Good luck with TNT everyone.
