Why are PFG doing a share buyback when they are supposed to be reducing debt & increasing the dividend payout?
And why are they doing it now after the share price has gone up so much in the last few months?
If they were going to do a share buyback it should have been done when the sp was below 10c not going into the peak of the market.
Last time they did a share buyback around 13c they bought bugger all shares before the market was sold off & they realised they needed more cash.
So has the mngt finally run out of ways to 'restructure' & 'invest in the business' & all they can think to do with cashis buyback their own shares?
PFG has consistently shown it can't increase topline growth & this is just the latest attempt to boost the EPS via other means. No doubt to meet mngt performance KPIs.
PFG mngt are the very definition of a very ordinary BODs, just when I thought they might be getting their act together they do a share buyback!
