Nothing like exaggerating to try and support your argument (which by the way shows you are clutching at straws). Afterpay's all time high was ~$160, so the TO was pitched at 21% below the ATH. The APT SP actually spent almost no time above $150, so that is a far more meaningful data point (the discount to $150 was only 16%). Interesting that onne of the most successful fintech companies in the world was willing to pay $126 per share for something that @Goodfella58 repeatedly valued at $2-$6 per share.
As a shareholder of Afterpay, I believe it is a fantastic transaction for both companies which will add significant long term value to Square. For that reason, I am very happy to take payment in SQ shares.
