But is it a leaky ship? Even if an announcement drops in the next day or two?
Reality is PTX has been coiling for over 2 months & we know that the PTX-100 expanded cohort has been targeted to commence in September.
It's a no brainer in my opinion that a large player would eventually take the handbrake off at some stage as we got deeper into September, the traders that were fortunate enough to be following the chart/price action would have taken to this afternoons buying like a fat kid on a cupcake.
Looks like the buyers and sellers got absolutely wiped! Now only 390,000 units left in sellers, I believe the orders are stopped at 7pm from memory. There was absolutely no time for anyone to regroup this afternoon in the sellers, was an absolute cracker of a last hour & particularly 15 minutes of trading. I actually smelt something was up and took my usual photos of the volume action so I could reflect more closely later.
2:26pm we had 983,183 total volume at .23c
2:54pm we had 1.17m total volume at .23c
3:15pm we had 1.72m total volume at .24c
4:20pm we had 5.94 total volume at .27c
I don't think todays action was a coincidence either mate, whilst tomorrows conference would not be considered price sensitive by any stretch of imagination if the ASX are to be consistent, it should serve as a wake up call to the market as a huge opportunity for PTX & the results of the next 2 days networking may pay huge dividends in the coming months rather than immediately.
Regardless of the price action for the rest of the week, PTX is still hugely undervalued for it's IP and maturity of a diverse portfolio in various stages. The PTX market cap should be compounding another few times over again shortly imo before we are in fair value.
But again, value is all subjective and it's for each person to appraise what they think a company is/should be valued at any given time and buy/sell or watch accordingly.
It's a big fat buy for me until at least $500mc or circa 75c in the near term.
