    Very true.

Do we really know if it’s the number of beds available or the numbers of staff required to service the beds?

Hospital ramping, understaffing issues have been the norm in WA for decades so I can accept that Covid has put much pressure on our hospitals but not just because of Covid.

Waiting lists for surgery have always been long haven’t they if one relies on the public system?

Covid is not the reason but just another reason for extended wait times for what is “elective surgery”.

PS I would like to say that I feel for those who haven’t been able to get their procedures done and I don’t mean to understate the need for them to get their procedures done.
The issues with our health system is more than just Covid related.
