No, we all know lithium is one of the most abundant resources on the planet. however Mother Nature hasn't made this problem easy. for example it sits at the bottom of oceans but is that commercially viable ? No. Lithium brine there are good examples now that this is not as comercially viable as compared to carbonate. the technology is also new from developing flows to improve recovery rates, through to battery tech. We also know from finding a resource to production is 1-5 years and there are no significant finds on the horizon and so when it comes to availability and supply we can have a forward looking view to the next 7 years and supply coming on line. there is price instability because of lack of supply and that's actually benefit rather than a risk.
