Tough choice this one? In or out?
Let's see...
SDL has one of the worlds largest undeveloped iron resources in the world that is not own by the big 3 (Rio, Vale & BHP).
They will have extremely low costs and therefore high operating margins.
They potentially have many customers, in many countries around the world who are going to require their product for many years to come (ie China, India, etc.)
The value of their resource will increase two-fold. Both by further drilling results which will increase in size of the ore body, and also by increasing price of the ore.
They have backing by local government, Talbot, etc.
The share price is continuing to rise over the last 6 months, including todays 1c movement.
On the flip side, they need around $3billion for project start up.
Sure there are many more factors than the above to consider, but I believe SDL makes a valid business case and is therefore a good investment.
So count me in.
