If you believe this has actually significantly impacted the customer numbers, then this company and industry is not for you.
I am not saying there wasn't any price pumping pre CR, but I am 100% certain its not related to their referral program.
Coming from an IT background and having dealt with many other providers, there is value in ABB that you obviously cannot see or measure in your own metrics. For the service and support they offer, they are competitively priced.
For reference, I have a 75/20mbit plan for $89 a month and I get that speed at any time of the day, peak or off peak. Combined with the support, transparency of any NBN outages (not like Optus blaming the customer when there is an outage) and the knowledge that there is significant investment into their own Fibre network, it is money well spent and value for money.
