I.m guessing one of the potential customers we are talking to is a car company.
A few things point me in this direction. First, when talking about Skywater's customer base coby seems to want to emphasize that they provide chips for automotive. He always puts this in, but it seems to be an area that he wants to emphasize. This requires further research obviously regarding Skywaters current customers. And by itself is not really anything.
Second, our most recent update regarding the Leti shared IP mentions increasing the endurance/tolerance. But with no specific info, so we will have to wait for that to be released in future.
Its all just speculation obviously, But i think for any of us happy to do so, i think there might be something here.
I think generally car companies will be the conservative type, so we may not hear a peep from them until after qualification and mass production capacity is demonstrated. Time will tell.
