In my personal experience, (as a test subject) in a couple of double blind tests for two drugs in the past. If a drug improves results by 10% without any serious side effects, it is sure to go into production.
Anything less than this, it would not be economically feasible, unless the affected group is very large. ie. Diabetics with heart problems. However the price would probably be quite high, for such a limited production. With Pharmaceuticals, the miracle of mass-production makes things affordable, as it does in Electronics too.
IVM has gone through all the human trials twenty years ago, or more. No real problems with it. Same with Hy Clor. THEY ARE NOT YET APPROVED FOR USE IN THE CASE OF THE CoVID VIRUSES. Therefore you take them at your own risk. HyChlor has been used as an Antimalarial for near 50 years, it can have some serious side-effects, including blindness, I only know of one such case, in PNG, a young bloke lost his sight in one eye.
KNOWN SIDE-EFFECTS OF IVM:Ivermectin is an antiparasitic medication. It is used for the treatment of scabies, worm infections and acne. The medicine works by killing the worms that caused the infections.

Lactation: SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Ivermectin is probably safe to use during lactation.
Alcohol: UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Ivermectin
Driving: SAFE - Ivermectin does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Liver Warning: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information on the use of Ivermectin in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Kidney Warning: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information on the use of Ivermectin in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Addiction: Not known to be addictive.

Which is the norm for our politicians, they never thought it through, before they decided on AZ. It looks like a Pharmaceutical equivalent of the Collins Class submarines. Why are they CONSISTENTLY so stupid?
