According to Rodney Hooper, chemicals pricing needs to be $30000 pt for the converters to earn a 15% margin when buying spodumene at $2240. So at $32000 pt spodumene can go higher and the converters can still earn that same margin. My guess is spot chemicals won’t stop at $32000 pt and therefore spot priced spod won’t stop at $2240 either. It’s unbelievable but I reckon spodumene’s going higher still. I think it’s possible that in the coming months the price of spodumene could start with a 3…. Holy sh1t
