I think they jumped to the conclusion with mRNA because it’s in the news and they probably don’t know about Novavax.
we know Pfizer and Moderna aren’t keen to give out their IP and MIPS mRNA vaccine is 18 months away if it’s successful. IMO the most realistic option is IDT does Novavax vaccine with an outside chance that it may do fill and finish for Moderna.
