1) I don't really understand what you mean, why would the public have anything to do with FDA decisions.
2) I absolutely give ODAC cred. The therapy has promise, they want to use it. They recognise that potency assays are tough with these sorts of cells.
It's the FDAs responsibility to make sure a safe, effective product is released. They obviously put more weight on the issues with the potency assays than ODAC.
3. They haven't proved that the cells work yet, but the data is interesting and promising. More studies should be done. That's how science works.
I hope that clears up my stance.
