nothing against you dex - but, when I see that term 'modern western democracy'
now - I really begin to cringe
yes - we do have a modern western democracy -
but, we see it as a high value ticket item - a developed thing which is good for mankind
but, after 200,000 years of the current model human species and after a couple of million years of two legged things that lead to us --
we now have what we see leading Australia and we see what the USA had in Trump and their political system
how good is our 'modern western democracy'?????
after a couple of million years ---------------- we have homelessness, we have war, we have violence, we have choking poverty, we have injustice, we still have starvation, poor water for millions,
we still have big weapons and we point them at each other
honestly --------------- this is it?????????? this is the best after all those hundreds of thousands of years, indeed, millions of years
this is the best we've got????????
we can send a vehicle to the sun - but, we can't house everyone
we can send tourists into space - but, we can't feed everyone
I'm afraid that I feel like a member of a failed species and when I look at what goes on in discussions in our working parliaments in our 'modern western democracies' --
all I get is embarrassed at being part of the species
