FEX's dividend was $0.0525
When a stock goes ex-div, it will almost always drop by the dividend price. (so from 29.5c - 5.25c = 24.25)
Often drops exceed that as investors frequently choose to reassign their positions to other stocks after the dividend is locked in.
As Tony8009 mentioned, this would have been combined with the worsening IO situation.
Given a suitable climate, stocks will usually recover from an ex-div drop soon after. (That may not occur quickly here given the IO situation)
