As I mentioned two weeks ago, there is good evidence that professional investors such as funds are now exiting the base metals play, passing off their metals holdings to individual investors who are just now getting excited about the space. That leaves funds with a lot of cash that needs to be re-invested. There will be a lot of managers asking themselves, "What's the next big theme?"
