It's going to be an interesting time this next 90 days as we should:

1. RC finding due to be reported to GG by 01/02/19
2. Full year results 14/02/19 including announcement of dividend
3. See if we have a trade agreement between the USA and China as well as an outcome on BREXIT (which could reduce/ramp up volatility)
I don't think any investors are under the illusion that AMP's FY results are going to be pretty poor (due to remediation costs/pending class actions etc.) but a lot of that has been factored in to the current SP. What is key is whether or not the RC allow AMP to continue with the vertical integration model which then if that occurs you're looking at a 7-8% yield on a potential 10 cent dividend. I think barring an 'Armageddon' situation with the RC this dividend will be maintained. There will be investors prepared to take a 'punt' on the dividend paid once the RC recommendations are known...even if it was reduced the yield is still quite high with the potential for short-term uplift in the SP
