A "criminal activity" would be someone accepting a bribe for a favour. I doubt this was the case. Porter was unfairly targeted by a viscious ABC that aims to create dirt to discredit not only Porter but the entire government. Porter was up agains a legal team that had unlimited public funds while he could face bankrupsy by going against them. Someone agreed to fund his case but insisted in remaining anonomous. They would need to do that or they would be the next target. A blind trust was the correct way to go.

Trial by media stinks. It stinks worse when it is taxpayer funded. It stinks even worse when that funding is used to push a biased political agenda. It stinks so bad that i can even get the smell permeating over the internet, so much so that wearing a mask now has some purpose apart from Covid.
