Calls allow the purchaser the right to call away stock at an agreed price at a certain date.
For example if I am pretty sure IMMP is likely to hit $9 in November and have $27,000 to invest.
How can I make the most return?
I could buy 7,300 shares at ~3.69 and make $5.31 make $38,800 profit or I could buy calls for 54000 shares for the same price and make $243,000 in profits. That looks like what happened today in the US market.
Some folks are seeing a huge upside. If they are correct then IMM will be over 1.20 on ASX
Hope these speculators get rich.
