That was extremely unlucky for your friend as the vast majority are either very old and have at least 3 comorbities. I am just curious how will we stop the spread with a leaky vaccination? Ie transmission is not stopped neither is infection? Again this is my understanding alone that you never vaccinate an entire population in a pandemic as you can force stronger strains to evolve as it is a leaky vaccine.. (you vaccinate the very small at risk part of the population)not as Israel is the biggest clinical trial in the world and in front of other countries in timeline we can have a glance into the future for Australia if we go down the same path. My understanding is that Israel is pushing out its fourth shot and the case rate is now at a all time high... just some of the reasons why I am sceptical at this point. Everyone has a right to have it or not and I am not judging either way.
