Ken passing away was a great loss, dare say it would be very difficalt to replace him. Mr Richard Beazley has qualifications but not sure he work on site as Ken did.
A month long extension to the voluntary suspension suggest something is at foot and they are giving a decent amount of time to work it out.
The Kurouni mine will continue one way or another, a CR would be a difficalt option with the current SP and so would a loan of some sort.
A JV or TO seems the most likely IMO and Barrick looks to be the most likely suitor given they are quite keen on Guyana, dare say Barrick signed up to the exploration JV knowing full well try position and that JV gave them a foot in the door to take advantage should the opportunity arise.
I have little doubt that Barrick are not actively pursuing options with TRY but can only speculate what will happen
