Yes we have known about that for a while .. Casey nmentioned it months ago when it was revealed that both ESH and STO had been in discussions with the Port of Newcastle.

I note on pages 18 and 19 that it is VERY clearly stated that LNG out of Newcastle is a focus and the quickest way to benefit shareholders! On page 19 it says that "...Recognising the benefits to shareholders ... ESG has formulated a Development Plan that incorporates Stage 4 type initiatives (LNG, GTL), that will shortly be submitted for consideration in accordance with NSW planning processes".

There we have it!! And they say on page 18 in BOLD that "the resource potential .. is so large ... that early implementation of a Stage 4 initiative will greatly assist in maximising net returns to shareholders".

Seems to me ESG is being very CLEAR on its intentions and having trumpeted the potential for LNG/GTL so often now they would not have done this without real justification.
