The duty of disclosure here is with the holder (LOAME), not the issuer (SO4). The company received the notice yesterday after close of trading, and released it today before the open, so there's no issue directly affecting the company's compliance with the listing rules.
It's not terribly uncommon for a holder to not realise that their neet holding has changed by more than the 1% threshold requiring notification. Or perhaps somebody filled out the form and forgot to send it. Or scanned it and didn't send it. A lot of these small funds are pretty disorganised.
It's interesting to see quite a number of parcels were purchased in AUD and sold in GBP. Makes me wonder whether these transactions were a sneaky way of converting currency at a profitable rate by buying shares from itself using different banks.
