On FRplastic one thing i would be really wary of is abrasion resistance. OK, could design for stress, corrosives, maybe (but only maybe) temperature (and even less as i type it) but a selected steel alloy seems closest to the mark. Not Nickel not Ti, all far to expensive.
Now they have a clear idea of fluid composition and temp / stress conditions, material selection should be a doddle. Getting it past the accountants, well,
