@Hairyback; at today's Victorian Covid press conference Martin Foley provided detailed responses to a whole series of probing questions including those you've raised and so mischievously and erroneously answered - which I know you will not retract since they're misinformation!

In short - the ventilators exist despite Morrison sending so many from 'emergency supplies' overseas.

Foley detailed how ICUs are being 'managed' to ensure that as many normal 'elective surgeries' as possible proceed - if needed due to numbers spiralling way beyond current levels [that's judged highly unlikely], those ICUs can be progressively used as well.

Foley assured Victorians that there are more than adequate contingencies in place.

That means Victoria is very well-placed to cope even with the expected influx of cowardly piglet squealing freedumb rioters who were exposed to the irresponsible, violence-supporting fool who's already been hospitalised after rioters urinated on the Shrine and spat on nurses walking to work.
