Heres an old article thats relevant to the topic and begs one to ask, why would BG walk away from the deal...

Now take a step back, holding in mind what you just read in regard to BG. JV discussions begin for upcoming drilling program after successful capital raising to be forwarded to the NT government for approval. Partners may or may not be in complete agreement with proposals, but no notifications on ASX of any parties pulling the pin on upcoming drill season.
So details are forwarded to NT government for approval and if the case is true and everything has been passed therein, all the JV's get together for a final OPCOM meeting in the near future. Last chance for any partners to get off the train, though any could have done that in the lead up to now.
So my counter question in regard to the topic would be, 'Why would BG walk now, if they could have already walked anytime up till now?'
Either way you flip the coin, whether BG are in or out, its not going to change the fact of whats under the tenements to be found...
Later.
