Dumb question, does the reduced demand for iron have an impact on nickel price? I only know it's used for stainless steel which has nothing to do with china's construction industry. Nic seems to be following the iron miner price action recently, on tuesday it was red like fmg etc in the morning then pumped with fmg and others, all closing ~5% green. Today it drops as iron miners have fallen quite a bit again.
Really want to buy but this tax thing and macquarie's warning puts me off. Would like to know the impact of iron, if any.
