I think you may have have misunderstood what he meant.

If Phil Crabb goes, that AND the continual pump dump scenario UMC is renowned for is enough for him to finally decide to say enough is enough and sell out.

Also I reckon he means over the years by backing this horse with a proven track record it has made him a lot of money.
Crabb does have a fairly extensive track record of projects over the years and is no fly by nighter.
In racing terms you might say he is going to follow the form.

As for the other horse in this race, form unknown.
Can he handle the distance.
Will he break down under pressure.
Has he been juiced up. Lol.
Has he fixed the race and knows the outcome before it has been run.
Who knows maybe it is time to call in the racing stewards and get a vet check.
